With 2024 marking 10 years of BFF, and the expansion of our festival to various venues across Blackpool, we’re on the lookout for more volunteers to help us out.
Since 2014, the Blackpool Film Festival (Formerly Winter Gardens Film Festival) has provided a platform for cinema programmed and co-produced with the artists and creative communities of the Fylde Coast.
We’re keen to share our love of film and are pleased to host a variety of film education activities.
Blackpool Winter Gardens was formally opened to the public in July 1878 and is made up of a series of spectacular fantasy interiors intended to transport visitors to other times and places.

We’re looking for powerful films of all genres and styles, which highlight important social issues such as climate change, LGBTQIA+ rights, gender equality and other subjects which impact the world we live in.
Aunty Social is looking for a Festival Development Coordinator to support the work of Blackpool Film Festival.
This role is an entry-level position for a Fylde Coast-based aspiring film exhibition professional.
